I just finished this painting of Nicole and I. It is the first in a series of portraits of the family taken from photos that Ive tucked and stored away the past 8 years of our marriage.

How good it feels to bring them out, dust them off, and tape them to the wall as references for the paintings. This painting is from photos I took of Nicole and I on our honeymoon in Florida.

The painting is roughly 5 feet by 5 feet, on a triangular canvas.
