Lately, this album has made a resurgence in my playlist. Not usually a big Low fan, but as I was shuffling through our old compact discs the other day looking for something new I found this gem.
As an album, it seems to ebb and flow through each song beautifully, making markable variations when needed. (I always love an album that the artist(s) has treated as a WHOLE body of work rather than individual tracks pressed together for wholesale.)
Also, the spiritual undertones of the album are reverent and moving.
If you have it or heard it, I recommend you listen again for the first time. There is an everlasting thread woven in it that is unbending through time and culture shifts.
