The creative triad

I've been thinking about this theory lately which for lack of a better name I will call "the creative triad".

Its simple. And applies to artists of every shape and form. Maybe.

1. vision: First is born the vision within the artist to create something specific to portray or convey a philosophy of thought and feeling. Born from life experience or internal theory. (ex.--the desire to paint a still life) The conception.

2. means: Just that. The physical ability, exertion, and materials which the aforementioned artist uses to portray their idea. (ex.--gathering the paint, canvas, still life materials, and all other needed materials in order to paint said still life). In utero.

3. audience: Releasing the work to be experienced by some other person, a community or group(s) of people, society, or culture. (ex.--hanging the painting in a gallery). The incarnation and inception.

It seems that a form of all three elements has to be be rotating cyclically in an artist's life in order for them to feel whole and at peace. But I could be wrong....just thinking alot about it lately and how it applies to me.
