...then sin entered the garden..........

The bad news: Some sort of lawn fungus jumped off our yard compost pile, formed strange crop circles in the grass and then attacked the garden. It killed off the snow peas, pumpkins, and zucchini (which I thought were indestructible vegetables). Sad.

The good news: My mother's one year old apple tree bore its first fruit! We are all hovered around it waiting patiently........
Also, our grapes are growing ripe on the vine over our arbor and they come in abundance-does anyone know of a good way to make grape juice?

Happy.

how to be constructive with your destructive urges

1.Eye the said object of demise (our deck roof).

2. Attack it and push it over.

3.Release it from its toxic contents (tar paper and shingles)

4. Turn it into a raised garden bed. --Presto for pesto. You've destroyed something only to build it back up again in a sustainable way.
